Miniatures
With a 2017 Honorable Mention, Ann was invited to join the prestigious Miniature Painter, Sculptors & Gravers Society of Washington, DC, whose eligibility for membership consideration is limited to those who have exhibited in three annual Society shows or who have been awarded a first, second, or third prize at any exhibition of the Society.
Still Life
All kinds of human-made, natural objects, cut flowers, fruit, vegetables, fish, game, wine are a part of the Still Life genre.
It can be a celebration of material pleasures such as food and wine, or often a warning of the ephemerality of these pleasures and of the brevity of human life.
The warm palette of this group provides a pleasing moment of meditation.
